Annual Festival of Trees

Date: December 6, 7, 8, 2024

Place: Governor Hunt House Community Center

December 6 - 8, 2024 at the Governor Hunt House & Community Center in Vernon Vermont.  This three day festival offers community members a chance to win tree decorations and prizes donated by area businesses. The trees will feature themed decorations as well as merchandise and gift certificates from the sponsor businesses. The decorations and prizes will be raffled off and proceeds support the Governor Hunt House & Community Center.

Over the weekend the historic home will be opened up for the community to walk through and admire the festive decorations while also participating in holiday themed activities.

SPONSOR A TREE FOR YOUR BUSINESS! We invite area businesses, organizations and individuals to become sponsors of the annual Festival of Trees at the Governor Hunt House — the area’s only Festival of Trees and a great marketing opportunity!

We ask sponsors to provide and decorate a holiday tree, trimmed with decorations of your choosing — we encourage ornaments that reflect a theme related to your business or purpose. In addition, we invite you to place generous gifts to be placed under your tree — merchandise or gift certificates.

For our upcoming Festival we have a lot of wonderful sponsors donating trees as well as goods and services from their businesses! 

During the festival, all trees, together with the gifts under them, will be raffled to festival attendees. The festival takes place in conjunction with Vernon’s long-running Home for the Holidays Craft Fair, directly across the street at the elementary school. 

Sponsorship is FREE, with the exception of the Presenting and Supporting sponsor levels.​
