Since its inception, the FOVC Board has worked diligently to secure capital project grants, and operational funding from a multitude of organizations:
-
The 1772 Foundation awarded a VT Historic Preservation grant for exterior building improvements;
-
The BDCC provided consultant support;
-
Interior and exterior capital projects are endowed by a HUD Grant supported by VT state Senator Leahy;
-
ARPA grants, awarded by the town, support building renovations and improvements including improvements to energy and equipment; and
-
The Thomas Thompson Trust grant was awarded for two years, helping to support our start-up operating expenses.
The FOVC plans to continue to seek grants to support the community in the arts, child and adult education, exercise programs, social activities, and senior support.
